Who We Are

Who We Are:

Core Statement:

At LCC our core statement sums up who we are, and who we are striving to be. We realize that we are not perfect, and we don’t try to be.  We simply try to be:

“Real People who love and honor the Real God in Real Relationships.”

Core Values:

Our core values describe how we make our core statement happen.  The things that shape us are God, and our values.  Here at LCC our core values influence everything we do.  Our values are:

    • God Dependent & Spirit Empowered
    • Growing Disciples
    • Servant Evangelism
    • Everyone in Ministry
    • Value the Individual

What To Expect:

If you are new to LCC or new to church in general, here is what you can expect when you visit.

People will be dressed in a wide range of clothes.  You will see people in suits and ties, dresses, jeans and T-shirts, polos, hoodies, flip flops, and everything in between.  We don’t care what you wear, we just want you here.

Our services will be about an hour in length.  The 9:00 AM service will be 50 minutes long, and the 11:00 AM service will be 60 minutes.

Each service will have one consistent message, or theme, that ties together all the individual parts of our service.

We will worship God together through music.  We have a full band at both services that will lead us in a time of corporate worship.

You will hear someone, most likely one of our pastors, speak God’s truth from the Bible.  We believe that this time of teaching and instruction is important to making disciples, and growing together.

We will say a Bible verse together.  Each week we will repeat our verse of the month.  While this verse changes monthly, it is our theme verse for our current sermon series.

We will take communion together.  We believe communion is an important part of our service.  Each week we set aside time to remember Christ’s sacrifice for us.

We will take up an offering.  We believe that this is our time to give back a portion of what God has given us.  A minimum of 10% of every dollar we receive is given to outreach and local or overseas missions.

We will pray.  We cannot overlook the importance of prayer in our services. Prayer is one way we can communicate with God, and one way that God communicates back to us.

If you have an infant, our nursery is staffed at both of our services.  Feel free to keep your baby with you in the service, we know kids make some noise, but that doesn’t bother us.

If you have children from grades K – 5, we have an awesome program called “Real Kidz” that is available at our 11:00 service.  Your kids are more than welcome to attend, but if you would like to sit as a family, they are welcome in the main service as well. Kids will start out in the service with their families and then after the opening song, prayer and announcements they are dismissed to Real Kidz.
